Flexible PTFE Tubing
If you are looking for chemically inert and highly thermal resistant tubes, then consider flexible PTFE tubing. Flexible PTFE tubes can easily be bent without breaking or interfering with normal working conditions.
Even in the bent or curved state, flexible PTFE tubing allows for the free flow of liquid due to “zero” frictional forces. It does not matter whether the PTFE flexible tubing is handling viscous or non-viscous liquids.
Presently, PTFE flexible tubes remain the most flexibly and widely used tubing of all the fluoropolymer tubes. Even with the flexibility, the PTFE flexible tubes are highly resistant to temperature.
Uses of Flexible PTFE Tubing
The flexible PTFE tubes are perfect for use where the installation areas have bends or constrictions. Some popular applications include:
- PTFE catheter
- PTFE tube filament for 3D printer
- PTFE tube-filling machines
- Liquid silicone injection molding machine feeder tubes
- PTFE wire harness insulation tube
- Laboratory tubes
- Tube sin analytical equipment
When buying flexible PTFE tubing, you must specify the internal diameter, outer diameter, wall thickness, recommended banding radius, and maximum working pressure.
