What is PI Sheet
PI is known as “one of the most promising engineering plastics of the 21st century” and is among the most heat-resistant polymer materials currently available for practical use. It has a long-term service temperature range of -269°C to 300°C (-452.2°F to 572°F), and can withstand short-term temperatures above 400°C (752°F). It does not have a clearly defined melting point and can maintain stable mechanical strength even at extremely high temperatures.
HANSA started with fluoroplastics and has gradually expanded into a wide range of engineering plastics, including PI. Our products include PI sheets, rods, tubes, and finished machined components. With advanced processing equipment, we offer a variety of mature machining services such as turning, milling, CNC cutting, and laser cutting, with full OEM and ODM support. We provide one-stop plastic material solutions for your projects.
Basic polyimide resin
Standard PI sheets offer a range of advantages, including resistance to both high and low temperatures, good wear resistance, excellent electrical insulation, self-lubrication, a low coefficient of friction, low dielectric constant, strong chemical resistance, radiation resistance, and heat deformation resistance. They also provide high mechanical strength and good machinability.
They are mainly used for high- and low-temperature components, wear parts, seals, insulating parts, oil-free sealing applications, and chip testing sockets.

Used for manufacturing brake sensors, automotive window lift limit pins, eddy current rings, insulating parts, and high-temperature components.

Amber in appearance, widely used in aerospace, semiconductor, and oil industries. Suitable for high-temperature precision parts, insulating components, wear parts, and seals.

Offers excellent creep resistance, fatigue resistance, and high flame retardancy. Used in aerospace, semiconductors, and electronics for oil-free lubricating parts, seals, gears, bushings, and chip test sockets.

Used in aerospace, semiconductors, automotive, and hot runner systems. Features low friction, strong chemical resistance, and high mechanical strength.

Resistant to both high and low temperatures, self-lubricating, and has low water absorption. Used for high/low temperature parts, insulating components, oil-free bearings, and bushings.

Provides higher modulus and hardness compared to other PI sheets, with superior dimensional stability at high temperatures. Commonly used in aerospace, semiconductors, automotive, oil, and specialized industries.

Long-term service temperature above 400°C. Used in LCD and semiconductor manufacturing equipment, precision machined parts, and instrumentation components.

Long-term service temperature above 400°C with excellent wear resistance. Used for high-temperature components, high-temperature friction parts, and electronic manufacturing components.
Modified polyimide resin
Modified PI sheets are produced by adding other materials to enhance specific performance properties, such as self-lubrication, anti-static behavior, and wear resistance.
-
Excellent wear-resistant PI SheetUsed for valve seats, bearings, bushings, piston rings, thrust washers, and hot glass holders. It is widely applied in aerospace, oil & gas, and general industrial fields.
-
Self-lubricating PI SheetMaintains self-lubricating properties even in vacuum environments. It is used for transmission components operating under vacuum conditions.
-
Anti-static PI SheetThe electrical resistance can be adjusted, and the material offers good machinability. It is used for manufacturing anti-static components and electronic conductive-related parts.
Why You Need PI Sheet?
If your project involves special engineering applications where ordinary engineering plastics cannot operate reliably under extreme conditions and require frequent replacement or maintenance, then PI is the right choice. PI offers many advantages and is widely used in aerospace, electronics and electrical industries, as well as petrochemical applications.

PI has a long-term service temperature range of -269°C to 300°C, and can withstand short-term temperatures above 400°C.

Under non-lubricated conditions, its PV limit is more than 10 times higher than that of general engineering plastics, allowing it to resist strong impact and abrasive wear.

PI does not melt at high temperatures, can withstand relatively high loads, and provides excellent dimensional stability.

PI has a dielectric strength higher than 20 kV/mm.
Your One-Stop CNC Machining Service Center for PI Plastic Sheet
HANSA is a manufacturing factory that integrates both production and machining. With 100 CNC machining centers and comprehensive processing capabilities, we can not only produce PI sheets but also machine them directly into finished parts for your project. This helps you reduce costs by eliminating the need to find a separate machining supplier. We provide one-stop plastic solutions, including high-performance materials like PI.

Custom PI Sheets to Your Required Dimensions
HANSA produces standard-size PI sheets and can also cut and manufacture custom sizes based on your requirements. With over 30 years of experience in plastic manufacturing and machining, we combine advanced production technology with deep product expertise. We’re happy to provide technical guidance for your project.
We maintain tight tolerances of ±0.03 mm on PI sheets. Thanks to PI’s excellent dimensional stability and low thermal expansion, it resists deformation and reliably maintains its finished dimensions.
From Samples to Mass Production of PI Sheets
HANSA has no minimum order quantity—we welcome sample orders so you can test first. If you’re satisfied with the quality and dimensions of our PI sheets, you can proceed with bulk purchasing. We have a well-established quality management system, with a sampling inspection rate of over 2%, and full traceability throughout the production process. For all products exported by HANSA, we strive for zero defects. Any product that does not pass inspection will never be shipped—this is our commitment to our customers.
