Virgin Gasket
Virgin PTFE gasket are processed from 100% pure PTFE material. At times, we call the material unfilled PTFE. Usually, virgin PTFE gasket has superior chemical resistance properties.
Although virgin Teflon gasket has the best physical features, mechanical properties may require further improvements.
It is because the virgin PTFE gaskets mostly don’t have fillers. These Teflon gaskets have excellent thermal resistance and the best electrical insulation properties.
Bovendien is de unfilled PTFE gaskets have low co-efficient of friction.
