二硫化钼2 Filled PTFE is 聚四氟乙烯 和 molybdenum disulfide (MoS2). Adding MoS2 filler makes PTFE material improve various desirable properties such as:

  • Wear resistance – you can use the 聚四氟乙烯in high-traffic areas or mating surfaces
  • Better compressive strength – it can resist high compressive force before failing
  • Self-lubricating – better lubrication properties since it container polar gas
  • Even with improved thermal and electrical conductivity molybdenum disulfide-filled PTFE has high dielectric performance
  • Improved dimensional stability
  • Better creep resistance properties
  • Retains better machining properties

At times, you may add other filler materials to MoS2 Filled PTFE. Usually, this improves other functional properties which are not achievable by adding molybdenum disulfide. For example:

  • Adding glass or bronze to MoS2 Filled PTFE will make this material smoother, more slippery, and more solid.
  • Adding bronze to MoS2 Filled PTFE improves electrical and thermal conductivity

The composition of filler material varies depending on the specific performance properties you wish to achieve in molybdenum disulfide-filled PTFE.

· Reduces possible cold flow

 

Applications of MoS2 填充聚四氟乙烯

Dynamic sealing systems – it is due to low friction coefficient, high compressive strength, more slippery, and increased wear resistance.

二硫化钼2 PTFE bush bearing – applications involving high speed and mechanical loading due to enhanced mechanical properties

Other applications include cup seals for pistons, bearings, slide covers, and glide rings, amongst others.
