What is PVC Sheet
PVC sheet (Polyvinyl Chloride sheet) is a type of thermoplastic engineering plastic board manufactured via extrusion or calendering processes.
It is classified as a “formulated engineering material” because PVC resin cannot be molded directly; it requires the addition of various additives—such as heat stabilizers, plasticizers, lubricants, UV stabilizers, and fillers—to achieve the desired properties.
Notably, the chlorine atoms in the PVC molecular structure provide inherent flame retardancy, giving the finished sheet self-extinguishing characteristics. However, since these chlorine atoms release hydrogen chloride (HCl) during thermal processing, the inclusion of heat stabilizers is essential.
With extensive experience in PVC sheet production and state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, HANSA offers customized PVC sheet solutions tailored to your specific project requirements. Our processing capabilities include CNC machining, cutting, drilling, thermoforming, and welding.
HANSA provides OEM and ODM services to customize PVC sheet properties, dimensions, and colors; our expert technical team ensures the material remains stable and effective throughout the processing stage.

Different Types of PVC Sheet We Supply

Rigid PVC sheets contain virtually no plasticizers and offer high strength and rigidity; they are typically used for industrial protective panels and equipment housings.

It features an internal microporous structure and is lightweight; it is commonly used for advertising display boards and decorative panels. It is also widely used in construction due to its good sound and heat insulation properties.

A significant amount of plasticizer is added to make the PVC soft and flexible. Commonly found in everyday life—such as in table mats and door curtains—it is available in a wide range of colors.

Transparent PVC sheet comes in both rigid and flexible varieties and features high light transmission. It is commonly used in applications requiring visibility, such as equipment observation windows and protective shields.

It exhibits high temperature resistance, chemical resistance, and rigidity, capable of withstanding temperatures of 90–110°C or even higher. However, it entails higher costs and is slightly more difficult to process.

Flexible PVC sheet supplied in rolls. It features high flexibility and transparency, is easy to cut, and has a high minimum order quantity.

Also known as PVC laminated sheet, this material features a formulation optimized for acidic and alkaline environments, allowing for long-term exposure to chemicals in applications such as chemical storage tanks, acid/alkali vats, and electroplating equipment.

An anti-static coating is applied to the surface of the PVC board, imparting high dielectric strength and flame retardancy that meet electrical safety standards. It is used for electrical insulation applications, such as partitions in electrical control cabinets and insulating components for power distribution systems.

Formulated with UV stabilizers, it is suitable for long-term outdoor use; it resists prolonged UV exposure, delays aging, and is resistant to yellowing or embrittlement.

It features a smooth, rubber-like texture and is formulated with a green color masterbatch, making it well-suited for industrial applications. It is used for factory partitions or flexible protective coverings for equipment.
