MoS₂Filled PTFE is politetrafluoroetileno with molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂). Adding MoS₂ filler makes PTFE material improve various desirable properties such as:

At times, you may add other filler materials to MoS₂Filled PTFE. Usually, this improves other functional properties which are not achievable by adding molybdenum disulfide. For example:

Adding bronze to MoS₂Filled PTFE improves electrical and thermal conductivity

MoS₂PTFE bush bearing – applications involving high speed and mechanical loading due to enhanced mechanical properties

Other applications include cup seals for pistons, bearings, slide covers, and glide rings, amongst others.
