What is PCTFE?
PCTFE is a high-performance engineering plastic and a type of fluoropolymer. Compared with PTFE, it has a much lower gas permeability—only one-tenth that of PTFE. Its operating temperature ranges from -400°F to 379°F, making it extremely resistant to low temperatures and ideal for your LNG projects. It also offers excellent dimensional stability and the highest hardness, making it a preferred material in the semiconductor industry.
HANSA has over 20 years of experience producing PCTFE sheets, offering professional manufacturing expertise and one-stop engineering plastic solutions. Using both compression molding and machining processes, we ensure that our PCTFE sheets meet standards for airtightness, dimensional stability, and hardness.

Review
PCTFE has only one-tenth the gas permeability of PTFE, along with better dimensional stability and more stable performance in low-temperature environments.
The normal operating temperature range is -400°F to 379°F (-240°C to 193°C), with a melting point of 415°F (212°C).
Yes, PCTFE can be easily machined. It has near-zero water absorption and excellent dimensional stability, making it resistant to deformation after machining.
It is certified with FDA, RoHS, REACH, and ISO 9001. In addition, HANSA can provide LNG low-temperature performance data.
Why HANSA PCTFE Sheet
HANSA is one of the few manufacturers in China capable of producing PCTFE sheets, and even fewer can provide machining services for PCTFE. If you are looking for a supplier with stable material quality, short lead times, and reliable long-term supply, HANSA is your ideal choice.
What is PCTFE?
PCTFE is a high-performance fluoropolymer with three key advantages:
- Low gas permeability
- High dimensional stability
- Excellent low-temperature resistance
These properties are unmatched by other fluoroplastics. If your project is in the LNG or semiconductor industry, PCTFE is one of the best materials for seals and precision components.
Yes. Especially for LNG applications, we perform slicing inspections on each PCTFE sheet to ensure there are no voids before shipment. Voids can affect sealing performance, cause project delays, and increase costs.
HANSA ensures consistent quality across different production batches. All products undergo strict quality inspection. As a professional manufacturer of fluoroplastics like PCTFE, HANSA maintains a high level of expertise and process control.
HANSA controls the thickness tolerance within ±0.05 mm.
No. Thanks to its excellent dimensional stability and strong creep resistance, PCTFE does not easily deform or crack during CNC machining. You can confidently machine it yourself, and HANSA also offers CNC services for finished parts.
The low-temperature shrinkage rate is very low, typically between 1.5% and 2%.
Yes. HANSA conducts low-temperature cycling tests in collaboration with clients to ensure stable performance under alternating temperature conditions.
PCTFE has the lowest gas permeability among all fluoroplastics. Typical values are:
- Oxygen permeability: ~0.5–1.5 Barrer
- Nitrogen permeability: ~0.2–0.8 Barrer
- Helium permeability: ~5–10 Barrer
Yes. PCTFE offers high compressive strength, low gas permeability, and excellent low-temperature resistance. Typical applications include LNG valves, gas cylinders, and cryogenic sealing components.
≥99%, depending on raw material sources and processing conditions.
Yes. HANSA provides a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each batch, including:
- 밀도
- 인장강도
- 압축 강도
